Sri Lanka is actively engaging in the ongoing 58th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) in Geneva, reaffirming its commitment to promoting human rights and international cooperation.

On the sidelines of the session, a series of significant diplomatic engagements took place.

Sri Lanka’s representative Minister Vijitha Herath held a bilateral meeting with H.E. Lord Collins of Highbury, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the United Kingdom. Furthermore, discussions were held with key global leaders, including UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk and H.E. Ms. Varsen Aghabekian, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs of the State of Palestine.
