Prime Minister Meets Maldivian Minister of Foreign Affairs

Dr. Abdulla Khaleel, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Maldives, is currently on an official visit to Sri Lanka from February 18-21, 2025. During his visit, Dr. Khaleel met with Sri Lankan Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya to discuss the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries.

In the meeting, Minister Dr. Khaleel expressed his sincere appreciation for Sri Lanka’s continued support in the Maldives’ development, particularly in the areas of education, human resource development, and the significant presence of the Maldivian community in Sri Lanka. He thanked the Sri Lankan government for its long-standing partnership and the hospitality extended to Maldivians living in Sri Lanka.
