Police Offer Reward for Tips on Woman Linked to Ganemulla Sanjeewa Murder

The Police have appealed to the public for assistance in locating a woman linked to the murder of underworld kingpin Ganemulla Sanjeewa, who was shot dead inside the Colombo Court Complex yesterday.
The Colombo Crimes Division (CCD) is leading the investigation into the incident, which has raised concerns about security at the court complex. Authorities have identified the woman as 25-year-old Ishara Sewwandi, a resident of Katuwellegama in Negombo.
In an effort to track down the suspect, the Acting Inspector General of Police (IGP) has announced a monetary reward for anyone providing information that leads to her apprehension. The confidentiality of informants will be ensured.
