The company was once the world’s largest tea exporter and has held the title of Sri Lanka’s largest tea exporter for over two decades. Inayet Akbarally’s legacy in the tea industry remains unmatched, and his contributions to the business world have left an indelible mark.
Inayat Akbarally’s passing marks the end of an era for the Akbar Brothers company, which continues to thrive as a leading force in the global tea market.
