Akbarally was instrumental in the growth and success of Akbar Brothers, a company he co-founded alongside his late brothers, Abbas and Abid Akbarally.

The company was once the world’s largest tea exporter and has held the title of Sri Lanka’s largest tea exporter for over two decades. Inayet Akbarally’s legacy in the tea industry remains unmatched, and his contributions to the business world have left an indelible mark.
