A fire that erupted last night at the Krrish building, located in Colombo Fort and currently under construction, has been successfully extinguished, according to the Colombo Fire and Rescue Department.

The blaze reportedly broke out on the 34th and 35th floors of the building, believed to have been caused by a pile of hardboard materials used for concrete structures and partitioning. Eight fire trucks were dispatched to the scene, working tirelessly to contain the fire and prevent further damage.

While the fire has been controlled, the exact cause of the fire remains unclear. The police have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The Krrish building, a significant construction project in the area, has been under development for some time. Authorities have assured that the situation has been brought under control, and there are no reported casualties.

Investigations are ongoing as officials work to uncover the cause of the fire and assess the extent of the damage.
