The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment, and Tourism has announced that President Anura Kumara Dissanayake will be visiting the United Arab Emirates (UAE) from February 10th to 13th to participate in the 2025 World Summit of Governments. The visit is made at the invitation of UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
During his visit, President Dissanayake is set to deliver a speech at the prestigious World Summit, which gathers global leaders and experts to discuss pressing governmental and international issues.
In addition to his participation in the summit, President Dissanayake is scheduled to hold bilateral discussions with UAE officials, focusing on strengthening the relationship between Sri Lanka and the United Arab Emirates, with an emphasis on mutual interests and potential collaborations in various sectors.
