Maldivian Defence Advisor Meets the Deputy Minister of Defence

During the meeting, the Deputy Minister highlighted the longstanding friendly relations between Sri Lanka and the Maldives, emphasizing the importance of collaboration in regional stability and security in the Indian Ocean region. 

Moreover, both parties explored avenues to enhance defense cooperation, including military exchanges and collaborative efforts to address regional security challenges. Colonel Hassan Amir expressed his appreciation for the strong bilateral ties and reiterated the Maldives' commitment to furthering defence cooperation with Sri Lanka.
