President Anura Kumara Dissanayake addressed a meeting in the Chavakachcheri area of Jaffna, where he strongly reiterated that there is no place for racism of any kind in Sri Lanka. The President's remarks came during his participation in a friendly gathering, where he was warmly welcomed by the local community.

 In his speech, President Dissanayake emphasized the importance of unity and harmony across all ethnic and cultural groups in the country. "We must work together to eliminate racism and ensure that all Sri Lankans live in peace and respect for one another," he said.

Additionally, the President announced plans to implement a comprehensive program aimed at eradicating drug abuse across the country. He highlighted that the government is committed to taking decisive action to protect the youth and ensure a safer, drug-free future for Sri Lanka.

The event in Jaffna marked an important moment in the President's outreach efforts to strengthen national unity and tackle pressing social issues.
