Train Operations Restored on Upcountry Railway Line

 The incident occurred between Kotagala and Talawakelle railway stations, where the collapse of a section of the Paskandu triggered the landslide, blocking the tracks.

The Nawalapitiya Railway Control Room confirmed that all trains on the Upcountry route were delayed due to the obstruction. However, operations have now resumed following repairs and clearance of the affected area.

Passengers traveling on the Upcountry Railway Line experienced significant delays, but authorities have assured that services are now back on schedule. Travelers are advised to remain updated on train schedules for any further changes.
