President Anura Kumara Dissanayake stressed the importance of maintaining a political culture free from accusations of personal vendettas during a friendly meeting in Anuradhapura.

He highlighted that it is unjust to claim that the pursuit of justice and transparency is driven by political revenge.

The President firmly stated that no individual has the right to misuse public funds for personal gain and assured the public that thorough investigations into fraud and corruption would be carried out. He emphasized that these investigations would be based on facts and the law, and not motivated by personal interests or political rivalries.

“Our commitment to upholding justice is clear. We will ensure proper investigations are conducted, and the law will take its course. This is not about vendettas; it’s about securing accountability,” said President Dissanayake.

Minister Wasantha Samarasinghe and numerous representatives of the National People's Power were present at the event, which focused on fostering dialogue and strengthening the party's vision for the future.
