The highest score achieved in the 2024 Grade 05 Scholarship Examination across Sri Lanka stands at 188, according to Commissioner General of Examinations, Amith Jayasundara. Speaking at a press conference on January 24,
Mr.Jayasundara revealed that while the top mark was 188, many candidates had achieved scores of 187, 186, and other close figures.
The Commissioner further commented on the trend of lower top scores this year, explaining that previous exams typically saw top scores exceeding 195. Notably, a perfect score of 200 was recorded in the 2020 examination.
For those dissatisfied with their results, Jayasundara announced that appeals for result scrutiny could be submitted online from January 27 to February 06, 2025.
