Heavy Rains Affect Four Districts, Over 600 People Impacted

Four districts, Anuradhapura, Kilinochchi, Kegalle, and Galle have been severely affected by continuous heavy rains since January 15, according to the Disaster Management Centre (DMC).
The adverse weather has impacted 603 people from 319 families, while four houses in Kegalle and Galle have been partially damaged.
Additionally, 200 people from 71 families have been evacuated to safer locations as a precautionary measure. The DMC continues to monitor the situation.
