Army launches Nationwide Renovation of Paddy Storage Facilities

Under the guidance of Army Commander Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo and following directives from the Secretary of Defence, cleaning operations began on January 18 at multiple locations. Security Force Headquarters across the country are coordinating the effort.

This programme supports the government’s plan to store paddy purchased during the Maha season harvest, ensuring the facilities meet required standards.
