Health authorities have reported an increase in respiratory viral fever cases among children.
Dr. Deepal Perera, a specialist at Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children, explained that the symptoms include fever, cough, headache, vomiting, and cold. He also warned that severe cases might lead to shortness of breath.
Dr. Perera attributed the spread of these infections to the current weather conditions and advised parents to remain cautious.
