New Economic Policy Book Unveiled to Government Ministers

Dr. H. N. Thenuwara's new book, Economic Policy Lessons for New Sri Lanka, was officially presented to key government officials at the Ministry of Finance.

The book, which compiles a series of articles reflecting on current economic trends, was handed over to the Minister of Labour and Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Professor Anil Jayantha Fernando, and the Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning, Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma.

Dr. Thenuwara, a former Assistant Governor of the Central Bank and Director of the Department of Economic Research, has drawn on his extensive experience in Sri Lanka’s economic policymaking and research to provide valuable insights into the country’s economic challenges and opportunities. His articles, originally published in local newspapers, cover a wide range of topics critical to shaping Sri Lanka’s future economic landscape.
