The Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka in Anuradhapura will be closed indefinitely starting from 12:00 noon tomorrow ( January 11), as per a decision made by the university's Governing Council.
Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka to be Closed Indefinitely
The closure was announced by the Most Venerable Niyangoda Wijithasiri Thero, the Anunayake Thero of the Malwathu Chapter of the Siyam Maha Nikaya.
Bhiksu University of Sri Lanka was founded in 1996 and was established under the parliament act governing directly under the Ministry of Education of Sri Lanka.
