Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced the 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup, which is set to begin on January 18 in Malaysia.

The tournament will feature teams from across the globe, and Sri Lanka has been placed in Group A alongside hosts Malaysia, West Indies, and India for the preliminary round.

The Sri Lankan team will be led by captain Manudi Nanayakkara, and the squad is set to depart for Malaysia on January 11.

A key highlight in the squad is the inclusion of Limansa Thilakaratne, who is the daughter of former Sri Lanka cricket captain, T.M. Dilshan. Thilakaratne's selection brings a significant legacy to the team as she follows in her father's footsteps in representing Sri Lanka cricket.
