EPF Investments Market Value in Stock Market Record Over 100 Billion

The Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) reported a market value of Rs. 109.69 billion for its investments in companies listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) as of September 30, 2024.
According to the latest report, the total purchase cost of these investments is Rs. 88.67 billion, resulting in a profit of Rs. 21.01 billion from the stock market.
In comparison, the market value of the EPF’s stock market investments was Rs. 110.03 billion as of June 30, 2024.
The number of listed companies in which the EPF has invested currently stands at 66, down from 67 in the previous quarter.
The fund has completely exited its investments in SoftLogic Holdings during this period.
