On January 6, 2025, Brazilian football icon Ronaldo Luis Nazario, widely known as Ronaldo, reportedly arrived in Sri Lanka for a holiday. He traveled aboard SriLankan Airlines flight UL471 from Incheon, South Korea to Colombo.
