Public Consultation on Electricity Tariffs Ends Today

The public consultation on electricity tariff revisions concludes today, focusing on gathering opinions from residents of the Western Province.
The Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka announced that the consultation are taking place at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall in Colombo, with over 70 individuals registered to participate.
Similar consultations have already been conducted in all other provinces.
The PUCSL further stated that a final decision on reducing electricity tariffs will be announced before January 17, 2025.
