2025 Appropriation Bill to be presented to Parliament

The bill will then move to the Committee Stage Debate, also referred to as the Third Reading Debate, which will be held from February 27 to March 21, with the final vote on the third reading scheduled for the evening of March 21.

Alongside the Appropriation Bill, the Local Government Elections (Special Provisions) Bill will also be introduced today. The bill, which proposes calling for new nominations for the Local Government Elections, was submitted by the Minister of Public Administration, Provincial Councils, and Local Government and recently published in the Gazette.
