Special Train Services for Thai Pongal, Independence &Weekend Holidays

The services will operate on key routes, including from Colombo Fort to Kankesanthurai and Colombo Fort to Badulla.

These special trains have been organized by the Sri Lanka Railways Department to accommodate the increased travel demand during Thai Pongal, Independence Day, and other weekend holidays. 

The initiative aims to provide a convenient and efficient travel option for commuters, ensuring smoother journeys for those traveling across the country.
