Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya chaired a meeting on January 3 at the Ministry of Education to assess the progress of initiatives under the World Bank-supported program for modernizing school education.

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of improving hygiene practices and sanitation among school children and enhancing the integration of Information Technology in secondary education curricula.
