The Sri Lankan Embassy in China has called on students who have personally applied for higher education in China to submit their details for the embassy's records. This request is part of a new initiative aimed at providing essential assistance to Sri Lankan students during emergencies, including natural disasters.

Currently, the embassy only maintains records of students who have received government scholarships, but with increasing concerns over the safety and well-being of students in the region, officials are looking to update their database to cover all Sri Lankan nationals pursuing higher education in China.

Students living in various regions of China, including those in Ningxia, are urged to respond promptly to the embassy's request to ensure they receive immediate support in times of crisis.

This move reflects the embassy's ongoing efforts to strengthen communication and support services for Sri Lankan nationals abroad. Students can submit their information directly to the embassy through the provided channels.

The Sri Lankan government is committed to ensuring the safety of its citizens, and this initiative marks a significant step toward better preparedness in case of any unforeseen events.

In Emergency situations, please contact the Embassy by dialing +86 10 65321861/2 or via e-mail [email protected] or [email protected]
