Minister Saroja Savithri visits Welikada Prison, meets Female Prisoners and Children

During her visit, Minister Paulraj met with female inmates and children at the prison’s Day Care Centre. She discussed their well-being, listened to their concerns, and distributed gifts containing essential items to the inmates.

The Minister was joined by Deputy Minister Dr. Namal Sudharshana, Ministry Secretary K.D.R. Olga, and other senior officials from the ministry. This visit aimed to address the needs of inmates and bring attention to their challenges.
