Mr.Wanigasuriya received his official letter of appointment from Thuiyakontha in a formal ceremony. Following the appointment, he has commenced his duties at the Ministry of Defence in Akuregoda.
With extensive experience in military leadership and national security, Wanigasuriya's appointment is expected to strengthen Sri Lanka’s intelligence capabilities in addressing the country's security challenges.
