Aswesuma Outstanding Payments Released to Beneficiaries Bank Accounts

Chairman of the WBB, Jayantha Wijeratne, stated that the first phase of the program has facilitated the transfer of payments to 212,423 eligible families.

Over 1,300 million rupees have been allocated for these outstanding payments. The Welfare Benefits Board has ensured that the funds are deposited directly into the beneficiaries’ bank accounts, providing much-needed financial relief to those in need.
