The Railway Department has announced that the railway crossing at the 16th Station on the Gampaha-Ja Ela main railway line will be closed from the 28th to the 30th of December for essential renovation work.
The crossing will be completely closed from 8:00 am on the 28th to 6:00 pm on the 29th. Additionally, it will be partially closed on the 30th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
During this period, the Railway Department urges commuters and travelers to use alternative routes to avoid disruptions and ensure safety.
