PM discusses Bilateral Ties with Norwegian Ambassador

The discussions centered on strengthening collaboration between Sri Lanka and Norway, with a focus on critical areas such as poverty reduction, social protection, tax reforms, renewable energy, and employment generation.

Dr. Amarasuriya stressed the need to reform Sri Lanka’s education system and underscored efforts to digitize governance for better public service delivery.

Senior officials from both countries participated in the meeting, including Mr. Pradeep Saputhanthri, Secretary to the Prime Minister, Ms. Sagarika Bogahawatta, Additional Secretary to the Prime Minister, and Ms. Shobini Gunasekera, Director General of the Europe and North America Division at Sri Lanka’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
