"I have full confidence that the current government will take steps to reverse this situation and restore law and order," he said.
The event also featured the distribution of scholarships and school supplies to children from low-income families in the Seeduwa area, aimed at easing the educational burdens of those in need. In addition, the Archbishop presided over the award ceremony for winners of the gardening competition, part of the Food Security Program, which encourages local communities to engage in sustainable agricultural practices.
