Disqualification Case Filed Against MP Dr. Archchuna Ramanathan

The application was submitted by public interest litigant Oshala Herath, who claims that Dr. Ramanathan is ineligible to serve as an MP because he has not resigned from his position as a medical officer.

The case was heard before the Court of Appeal today ( December 17) and has been scheduled for support on January 15, 2025.

Counsel N.K. Ashokbharan, along with Shenal Fernando, appeared on behalf of the petitioner.
