President Anura Kumara Dissanayake is departing for India today December 15, marking his first overseas visit since assuming office.
During his visit the President is expected to hold high-level discussions with Indian President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and other top diplomats.
President’s Official visit to India will conclude on December 17. The main focus of this visit is to strengthen the relationship between India and Sri Lanka, fostering closer bilateral ties in key areas of mutual interest.
