UNP and NDF to Propose Select Committee on NPP MPs' Qualifications

The United National Party (UNP) and the New Democratic Front (NDF) have decided to submit a proposal to establish a Select Committee in Parliament.

This committee would verify the educational qualifications of Ministers and Members of Parliament from the National People’s Power (NPP).

According to political sources, MP Jeevan Thondaman will present the proposal to Parliament.
