The Chairman of the Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC), Janaka Rajakaruna, has assured the public that there is no reason to fear any shortage of fuel at filling stations across Sri Lanka.

He made this statement during a special media briefing held today at the Government Information Department in response to concerns raised by journalists.

Mr. Rajakaruna emphasized that the country currently has sufficient fuel stocks, and the CPC, as a government institution, is committed to ensuring the continuous and uninterrupted supply of fuel throughout Sri Lanka. He further assured that the nation is fully capable of meeting its energy needs without facing any issues.

This arrangement will ensure a smooth supply once the current stock levels are depleted.

Mr.Rajakaruna’s comments aim to reassure the public and alleviate concerns over potential fuel shortages.
