FIFA has confirmed that Saudi Arabia will host the 2034 men's football World Cup, while Spain, Portugal, and Morocco will jointly host the 2030 tournament.

The decision was made during FIFA’s Extraordinary Congress meeting held on Wednesday, where the hosting plans for both tournaments were finalized through a formal vote.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the World Cup, three matches in the 2030 tournament will take place in Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay. These countries were chosen to honor the first-ever World Cup held in Uruguay in 1930.

The announcement sets the stage for historic tournaments, with Saudi Arabia hosting its first World Cup and a unique multi-continent event planned for 2030
