The government announced that President Anura Kumara Dissanayake will undertake an official visit to India from December 15 to 17, 2024.
According to Cabinet Spokesman Minister Nalinda Jayatissa, the visit will include discussions with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior officials. The President will be joined by the Foreign Minister and Deputy Minister of Finance.
The Minister Jayatissa stated that further details, including agreements to be signed between the two nations, will be disclosed by the Foreign Ministry closer to the visit.
