The Japanese government has donated aid worth approximately Rs. 300 million to assist Sri Lankans impacted by recent adverse weather conditions.

Emergency supplies, coordinated by the Japanese Embassy in Sri Lanka and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), arrived at Bandaranaike International Airport yesterday.

Japanese Ambassador Isomata Akio officially handed over the relief materials to Sri Lankan authorities. The aid will be distributed to affected individuals through the respective District Secretaries to address immediate needs.
