The National Constitutional Council (NCC) has welcomed two new members following official appointments. Ilankai Tamil Arasu Katchi (ITAK) Parliamentarian S. Sritharan has been selected to represent minority parties in the council, ensuring the inclusion of diverse political voices.
Additionally, Ajith P. Perera, a Member of Parliament from the Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB), has been appointed as the representative of the Opposition Leader in Parliament.
