Sri Lanka Customs is optimistic about achieving its tax revenue target of Rs. 1.53 trillion for 2024 by December 31.

Additional Director General of Customs, Seevali Arukgoda, announced that the department has already collected Rs. 1.38 trillion toward the target. This leaves a remaining Rs. 150 billion to be secured within the month to meet the year-end goal.

Customs officials remain confident that the revenue will be achieved through consistent enforcement of tax collection measures and efficient customs operations.
