Lohan Ratwatte and Wife Remanded Until December 6

The judge panel instructed the petitioners to notify the involved parties, including the Inspector General of Police, and to present relevant facts to the court.

The vehicle, which was found without number plates, was discovered during a police inspection of the couple's property in Embuldeniya, Mirihana.

The couple explained that the car had been brought to the house several weeks ago by Ratwatte’s private secretary, who was later found dead with gunshot wounds in Katugastota, Kandy. The car was also found to be illegally imported and assembled in Sri Lanka.

The investigation into the case continues, with the police seeking further details about the origins of the vehicle, and the authorities are also looking into the connection between the luxury vehicle and the couple's claims regarding its ownership and use.

The police had acted on information received from their headquarters, leading to the discovery of the car at the three-story house.
