Sajith Premadasa Calls for Unity to Support Palestinian People

Speaking at the United Nations Day for Solidarity with the Palestinian People event held at the Lakshman Kadirgamar Centre in Colombo, he stressed the importance of action over mere words.

Premadasa stated that Palestinians deserve justice on humanitarian grounds and called for collaboration with the international community to address their plight. He reaffirmed his firm stance against state terrorism in Palestine and condemned the bombing of civilian areas, urging world leaders to take concrete measures to prevent such acts.

He also highlighted the importance of fostering a future where Israel and Palestine coexist peacefully, promoting reconciliation and brotherhood. Premadasa appealed for global efforts to protect the rights of Palestinians and ensure their safety and dignity.
