Train operations on the Batticaloa Railway line were disrupted this morning (November 27) because of flooding caused by heavy rains in the area, according to the Railway Department.
Services along the Kelani Valley Railway line were also affected today due to a technical issue with a train traveling from Avissawella to Colombo-Fort.
Authorities are working to address both issues and restore normal operations as soon as possible. Passengers are advised to check for updates before traveling.
