2024 G.C.E. A/L Examinations Temporarily Suspended Due to Adverse Weather

The Examinations Department has announced the temporary suspension of the ongoing 2024 G.C.E. Advanced Level Examination due to the prevailing adverse weather conditions. The subjects originally scheduled for November 27, 28, and 29 will be postponed.
In a statement made at a special press briefing on November 26, Commissioner General of Examinations, Amith Jayasundara, confirmed that the exams for these dates would be rescheduled. The affected subjects will now be held on December 21, 22, and 23, respectively.
Mr.Jayasundara assured that the exams would recommence as scheduled on November 30 (Saturday), and the remainder of the examination process will proceed without further disruption.
Candidates are advised to stay updated on any additional announcements and prepare for the exams on the new dates.
