The Parliamentary Secretariat has decided to suspend water and electricity supplies, without prior notice, to parliamentary official residences that have not yet been returned.

Written notices were sent to the concerned Members of Parliament, according to the Parliamentary Secretariat.

As of yesterday (November 22) evening, over 70 former MPs had handed back their residences, but around 20 former MPs have yet to do so.

The Parliamentary Secretariat also noted that 26 re-elected MPs continue to occupy these residences.

Meanwhile, more than 35 new MPs have already applied for official residences.
