Abu Dhabi T10 2024 Begins Today with Sri Lankan Superstars in Action

The Abu Dhabi T10 League 2024 will kickstart today, November 21, 2024, at 3.30 PM (local time) and 5.00 PM in Sri Lankan Standard Time with a match between Team Abu Dhabi vs Ajman Bolts. It will be a 12-day tournament, with the summit clash slated for December 2.

Ten teams, such as Ajman Bolts, Bangla Tigers, Chennai Brave Jaguars, Deccan Gladiators, Delhi Bulls, Morrisville Army, New York Strikers, Northern Warriors, Team Abu Dhabi and UP Nawabs will battle it out in 35 league-stage matches and try to gain maximum points. The top four teams with the most points will then head into the playoffs.

Rashid Khan, Jos Buttler and Dinesh Karthik are among the high-profile players who have signed up for the 2024 Abu Dhabi T10. Bangla Tigers picked up both Rashid and Karthik, while, Deccan Gladiators snapped up Buttler alo with Marcus Stoinis.

Buttler will join Nicholas Pooran, Andre Russell, and Maheesh Theekshana, who were all retained by Gladiators. Matheesha Pathirana, Theekshana's Sri Lanka teammate, meanwhile went to New York Strikers.

Strikers, the defending champions, have retained their core of Kieron Pollard, Sunil Narine, Akeal Hosein, and Mohammad Amir. The UAE pair of Muhammad Waseem and Muhammad Jawadullah, who have also played for Sharjah Warriors in the ILT20, were also retained by the T10 franchise.
