NDF Discusses National List Nominations

The New Democratic Front (NDF) held a meeting yesterday (November 20) at former President Ranil Wickremesinghe's election office in Colombo to discuss candidates for its national list in the general election 2024.
Party General Secretary, Shermila Perera nominated Ravi Karunanayake for one of the two national list seats, while the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) faction of the alliance proposed former Minister Kanchana Wijesekera for the other.
Former parliamentarians Faiszer Mustapha, A.L.M. Athaullah, and Nimal Lansa are also being considered for the national list.
The party has yet to finalize its decision on the nominations.
