The Ministry of Education has confirmed that the 2024 G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) examination will be held as planned from November 25 to December 20, 2024, dismissing rumors of a possible delay.
In a statement, the Ministry acknowledged receiving requests for postponement but clarified that all arrangements, including printing question papers, preparing exam centers, and setting up regional collection centers, have been finalized.
The exam schedule was announced on March 1, 2024, providing ample time for students and schools to prepare. The Ministry emphasized that any changes now would disrupt the academic calendar, affecting other exams like the G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L).
Citing logistical challenges and the importance of maintaining the national education system’s stability, the Ministry confirmed that the A/L exams will proceed as planned, ensuring fairness for all candidates.
