Fernando was taken into custody by the CID on October 23 after an unregistered BMW car reportedly belonging to him was found suspiciously parked at a star-class hotel. He had been remanded until October 30 ( today). The arrest followed Fernando’s visit to the CID to provide a statement on the vehicle.
