Minister Vijitha Herath announced that the distribution of the fertilizer subsidy will commence today (October 14).
In the first phase, farmers will receive Rs. 15,000, followed by Rs. 10,000 in the second phase. The program starts in Ampara District and will expand to Polonnaruwa, Anuradhapura, and the Mahaweli Zone.
