The Ministry of Defence has launched a new program to send critical national security information directly to mobile phones via SMS, spokesperson Colonel Nalin Herath announced. This system will provide immediate notifications during emergency situations and also share updates related to human trafficking.
The initiative, implemented in collaboration with mobile service providers and the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission, aims to enhance public awareness and response during crises.
